The Swan Valley has numerous boutique breweries which offer a unique opportunity to enjoy a variety of award-winning local beers and ciders. By visiting places like the Homestead Brewery(Mandoon), Feral Brewing Company, Mash Brewing Company, Ironbark Brewery, Elmarsand Funk Cider you will be able to sample the finest lagers, pilsners, ales, wheat beers, stouts and ciders, all handcrafted following traditional techniques and using the best local produce.
The Swan Valley boasts two of Western Australia’s best distilleries.
The Great Northern Distillery is home to the award winning Canefire Rum, along with Vodka, liqueurs, cocktails, unique syrup mixers and a small selection of fortified wines.
The Old Young’s Distillery (formerly the Wild Swan Distilling Company) produces a unique range of vodkas, including ones infused with chilli / pavlova flavours and an award-winning citrus infused gin.

There are two main chocolate establishments in the Swan Valley, both the Margaret River Chocolate and Whistlers Chocolate Companies are must do attractions while visiting the region.
TheMargaret River Chocolate Companycomprises a retail outlet, café, factory with viewing windows to see the action and offers free tastings. Its sister company Margaret River Providore is located on the same property, with a huge range of preserves, chutneys, olive oils, award-winning wines and a not-to-be-missed chocolate liqueur.
Whistler’s Chocolate Company is the oldest, family-owned confectionery company in the region. It comprises a chocolate showroom, cocoa lounge, café and a large outdoor area. Well known for traditional favourites like rocky road, chocolate-coated licorice, coconut rough, handmade honeycomb and handmade brittles, we also have more modern favouriteslike our famous chocolate pretzels and chocolate caramel popcorn, plus a great range of dark chocolate from dark chocolate-coated macadamias, almonds, ginger, nougat and our gourmet dark chocolate bark with flavours like chilli and cinnamon, sea salt, burnt caramel and chai.
